Timely notification of your dispute following receipt of your Seattle City Light bill is required. A charge is not considered in dispute until you have contacted us.

If you have questions and/or disputes about your bill or utility procedures, you have the right to confer with a representative at (206) 684-3000 or 1-(800)-862-1181 (if out of area), or by visiting the City's Utilities Payment Center at Seattle Municipal Tower, 700 Fifth Avenue, Room 2777, Seattle, WA, 98104. To ensure that service is not disconnected, please pay all undisputed charges immediately or call to make payment arrangements.

Step 1: Contact us right away: a charge is not considered in dispute until you have contacted us. Indicate
WHAT and
HOW MUCH you are disputing and
WHY and state
WHAT ACTION you are requesting.

Step 2: If you disagree with the decision in Step 1, you have the right to an informal conference with a supervisor by phone or in person.
|
|
|
Step 3: If you disagree with the decision in Step 2, you can file an appeal in writing within five business days. State the reason for the appeal, include the dates and names of your contacts for Step 1 and Step 2, and mail your appeal to:
