Work planned on: Mount Baker: Shoreland Drive S. to South Andover

Overview of Entire Project: Underground cable is reaching the end of its expected useful life in the neighborhood bounded by: South Shoreland Dr. on the north, South Andover St. on the south, Lake Washington on the east, and South Mount Baker Blvd. on the west. Seattle City Light crews are working to replace it to improve the reliability of electrical service and to help avoid unplanned outages. Planned outages are required to do the work safely. Not all customers within those boundaries will be affected. Customers will be notified two weeks in advance by letter or door hanger. Customers may experience as many as five planned outages. Hopefully this won't be the case, but depending on the condition of the cable, it is a possibility. The outages will not occur on consecutive days.

3/29/2012 Update: Project is partially complete and if all goes well will resume in spring of 2012

Schedule: Tentatively resuming in Spring 2012
Begin: Spring 2012
Duration: to be confirmed
