Work planned on: LED Streetlights: 65th Street to North Seattle
Project Overview: Seattle City Light (SCL) plans to install another 12,000 LED streetlights between 65th Street to the north end of SCL's service area, starting in spring 2011.

9/23/2011 Update: Seattle City Light has replaced approximately 9,000 100W high pressure sodium or 150W high pressure sodium Cobrahead streetlights with new 70W LED streetlights to date.

The approximate completion date of the conversion work in Zone 4 which is North 65th Street to North 205th Street and Puget Sound to Lake Washington is October 31, 2011. The contractor crew is working currently in North Seattle area and City of Shoreline.
