5/19/2011 Update: This project is restarting after a delay. The planned start date is June 1, with the first planned power outages happening one to two weeks later. A general overview letter has been sent to all affected customers. Customers will be notified on the Thursday evening prior to the next week's outages.

Project Overview: Seattle City Light will be working with a company called Novinium to extend the life of underground power lines along Southwest Roxbury Street. Underground power cables will be injected with silicone to fill cracks in their protective insulation. The work will be along Southwest Roxbury Street between 4th Avenue Southwest and 35th Avenue Southwest. Additionally, the work will proceed up Olson Place Southwest between 4th Avenue Southwest and 2nd Avenue Southwest.

Schedule: Planned for June 1, 2011 to early December 2011

Duration: twenty-seven weeks
