The purpose of this project is to construct vaults and conduit duct banks for residential power distribution and street lighting. This system will replace the aged direct-buried power distribution system and provide for a more reliable, maintainable power service in the neighborhood. Work will also include the restoration of all disturbed paved areas and planting strips. This portion of the work will be constructed by a contractor under public works processes. Power disruptions are not planned during this first phase of the project. Installation of new power cables will be done by Seattle City Light crews at a future time.
