This project will remodel the camp housing facilities located in Newhalem and Diablo including two historic homes and two bunkhouses, which are used to provide additional housing units as rentals to employees, and temporary housing for work crews. It will also bring Seattle City Light into compliance with the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission licensing requirements. The utility is required to act under Section 106 of the Historic Preservation Act. Work includes demolition, hazardous materials abatements, rough carpentry, electrical wiring, plumbing, mechanical systems, insulation, gypsum wall board, interior painting, finish carpentry, flooring, exterior siding replacement/repair and exterior painting. The Contractor for this work is ACI.
