The underground electrical system will be converted from 4 KV - 26 KV. At Northeast 41st Street to Northeast 38th Street and 45th Avenue Northeast to 48th Avenue Northeast.
This is section 5 of a 9 section project. Seattle City Light has already completed section 1,2,3,4 and 6. The project is limited to the underground distribution system and improve reliability to the system as well as capacity.
Seattle City Light has hired Gary Merlino Construction to do the civil construction for this project. The street will be cut in several locations and new vaults and conduits will be installed.
