Central Waterfront Transmission Line Relocation Project Project Photos
The following photos are from Phase 1 of the project, which involved the relocation of transmission lines between Yesler Way and the Union Street substation.  Crews install the new transmission line at the vault between Seneca and Spring streets.  Crews complete restoration work at the Marion Street intersection.  Crews unreel cable at the Union Street Substation.  Crews work to bypass a water line on Western Avenue.  Crews conduct dewatering activities in the vault between Spring and Seneca streets.  Vactor trucks excavate pavement for the duct bank at University Street.  Crews work to install the vaults between Yesler Way and Columbia Street  Crews install conduit between Columbia Street and Marion Street.  Crews lay down foundation as part of duct bank shoring.  Duct bank shoring.  Crews use a drill rig to install a dewatering system.  Crews saw-cut the pavement before removing it to prepare to install duct bank.  Crews will dig trenches where new utility lines will be installed.  Vaults will be installed at various locations in the project area. |
