The Green Power Program completed three solar demonstration projects in 2009.
Saint Joseph Elementary School in Seattle (5.4 kW)
Seattle Aquarium Solar Hot Water System
Dimmitt Middle School in Renton (2.6 kW)
This brings the total to 28 projects installed since 2002 and a combined peak generating capacity of 84 kilowatts (DC). These projects are estimated to produce over 84,000 kWh of clean, renewable electricity each year. This is enough power to run 20 energy conserving homes.
