Phoenix Composting Toilet systems are used in residential and public-facility applications such as parks and recreation areas. They have mixing tines for aerating the compost and a system for recycling leachate. The only electrical load is a 5 W exhaust fan.

The Resource Venture is a partner in the regional 1% Water Conservation program and we provide free technical assistance to show you how to conserve water. We can also help you take advantage of financial incentives (available through Seattle Public Utilities' Water Smart Technology Program) which cover up to 50% of the cost of installing or replacing inefficient fixtures and equipment. Businesses that have participated in the program over the past six years experience water and wastewater savings of approximately $3.5 million each year.

Assistance Available: Financial incentives to encourage installation of resource efficient clothes washers. Amount of incentive depends on whether water is heated with electricity. All City commercial and multifamily projects are eligible for a rebate from Seattle Public Utilities.
