Now in its 15th year, NPP is focusing more on partnering with ethnic communities to affect behavior change around energy efficiency. The program is currently offering free "how-to" conservation workshops with free caulk and weatherstripping available for attendees. Through its Powerful Neighborhoods program, Seattle City Light also offers free installation of compact fluorescent light bulbs and smoke detectors, along with providing water-saving showerheads and aerators to residents in Seattle's South end.
