This team played a key role in the implementation of the new Summit Financial System. In addition to their regular job assignments, these individuals were asked to become the key staff for Seattle City Light in a wide variety of Summit financial systems implementation issues. This meant a significant addition to their individual workloads, learning and working with the Summit financial system at a difficult period in its development cycle. It also meant going the “extra mile” working with both their own immediate sections’ staff and the staff of other sections and branches to help them and work with them as they adjusted to the new system. Their efforts made the implementation of this complex financial system much smoother, with far fewer problems than experienced by other City departments.
