Since its inception in 1984, the Light, Power & Pride Employee Recognition Awards have been given to recognize exceptional achievements by Seattle City Light employees. Our recognition programs provide a visible, powerful way to communicate and reinforce successful behavior, encourage and support the achievements of collaborative work groups and teams and encourages creativity, innovation and initiative. The J.D. Ross Performance and Achievement Awards program categories include: Money Saver, Heroism, Creativity and Innovation, Customer Service, and Community Achievement. Money Savers must save the Utility a minimum of $25,000 in the award year. Individual winners and team members receive a cash award of $250.
