2012 Police Officer Exam Dates: ENTRY-LEVEL & EXCEPTIONAL ENTRY POLICE EXAM: The exam is scheduled to occur in over the weekend of June 23 & 24, 2012. The application period for this exam will occur in April 2012. Applicants for this exam must apply online during the application filing period. The application will only be available online while the filing period is open: April 2, 2012 at 8:00 a.m. – April 27, 2012 at 4:00 p.m (PDT). To apply, click on the following link (ONLY DURING APRIL 2 – 27, WHEN THE APPLICATION FILING PERIOD IS OPEN – THE JOB BULLETIN AND APPLICATION WILL ONLY BE AVAILABLE DURING THE FILING PERIOD):   http://www.seattle.gov/personnel/employment/default_neogov.asp   After the close of the application period, candidates will be required to either pay an application fee of $25.00 or complete a fee waiver form. Candidates will be contacted after the close of the application filing period with instructions about how to submit the application fee or fee waiver form.   OUT-OF-STATE CANDIDATES (Entry-level & Exceptional Entry)   All applicants who live outside the State of Washington will be scheduled to take the written and video exams the morning of June 23. Test papers will be graded on-site for all out-of-state applicants. Applicants who pass both the written and video exams will be scheduled by the Seattle Police Department to participate in the Washington State Criminal Justice Training Commission’s physical agility test on June 24.   IN-STATE CANDIDATES (Entry-level & Exceptional Entry)   All applicants who live inside the State of Washington will be scheduled to take the written and video exams either on June 23 or 24. Papers will be scored within 1 week. Those who pass both the written and video exams and who are in the top 25% of the eligibility register will be scheduled by the Seattle Police Department to participate in the Washington State Criminal Justice Training Commission’s physical agility test during the weekend of July 7 & 8, 2012.   LATERAL POLICE OFFICER EXAM   No exam scheduled at this time.
