Earthquake Damage Assessment

Project Overview:

The Earthquake Damage Assessment project focuses on improving the City's ability to obtain and analyze damage assessment information after an earthquake event by determining how to pull information from multiple sources into a single system for damage information.

Project Background:

An important element of responding to an earthquake is quickly gathering and analyzing information from all available sources. Working with IAC partners, this team will consider existing departmental assessment processes and tools, and identify ways to compile and filter information to rapidly support operational decision making and facilitate a more efficient recovery.
