Older adults in Seattle-King County can get information about a wide range of services and programs by contacting:

• The Mayor’s Office for Senior Citizens in the Seattle Human Services Department, 206-684-0500.



• Senior Information & Assistance Online, operated by Senior Services, at 206-448-3110 or 1-800-972-9990.

Professional advocates will either direct callers to either organization above to the appropriate agency or will contact the agency on the callers’ behalf. Advocates also follow up to make sure that callers have received the help they need.

• For transportation services throughout Puget Sound, visit the Find a Ride web site.



• For information on private and other government programs that help pay for prescription drugs, health care, utilities, savings and other needs, visit the Benefits Check-up web site sponsored by the National Council on Aging.
