Mayor's Office for Senior Citizens

Energy and Utility Assistance Programs

As utility prices soar, it’s not always easy for people to make ends meet. Regardless of the utility customer’s age, the Mayor’s Office for Senior Citizens may be able to help.

A variety of programs can help you get current and stay current on utility payments. Different income guidelines apply, and you may be eligible for more than one program.

Energy and utility assistance is available for residential Seattle City Light and Seattle Public Utilities customers only, and does not apply to residences used for business purposes.

On this site:

The Energy and Utility Assistance Programs are funded by a variety of sources, including Seattle City Light, Seattle Public Utilities, and rate-payer donations.
