Co-Design Closing Session

The Seattle Human Services Department invites community members and service providers to join the co-design closing session that will inform the 2019 safety funding opportunity. The purpose of the co-design closing session is to follow-up with attendees and the broader community. During the 90-minute session, HSD and Equitable Development, LLC will:

  • ensure that the information gathered is accurate
  • make changes as needed
  • gain clarity
  • capture any additional information

The co-design closing session will be held on Thursday, December 6th, 2018 from 2:30p-4:00p at Bethany United Church of Christ, located at 6230 Beacon Ave S Seattle WA 98108. To attend the co-design closing session register here.

Youth and Family Empowerment--a division of the Seattle Human Services Department--invite community members and service providers to participate in a co-design process that will inform the 2019 safety funding opportunity. The purpose of the co-design is to create city-funded strategies that inform what agencies and groups need to support youth (12 to 17-years old), young adults (18 to 24-years old) and adults (25-years old and over) involved in the justice system. The co-design will consist of 15 community engagement sessions facilitated by Equitable Development, LLC. Each session is 90-minutes long and seeks to build off the results of the prior session.

The co-design allows HSD to learn about what works for people most impacted by the justice system and service providers. Once the co-design is complete, it will inform the guidelines and application for the 2019 safety funding opportunity.
