Public Health Initiatives and Funding

Public health services are vital to the well-being and health of families and neighborhoods. While King County government is responsible for providing core public health services to residents countywide, City of Seattle funds are used to enhance services for Seattle residents, making more services available to more people and improving access to health care for underserved populations.

Our approach to public health involves working closely with Public Health – Seattle & King County, Community Health Centers, King County Department of Community and Human Services and other organizations to improve the health of the entire community.
