Consolidated Plan for Housing and Community DevelopmentOverviewThe Consolidated Plan for Housing and Community Development is a four-year plan updated annually by the City of Seattle. The plan outlines long-term strategies to address the housing, homeless, community, and economic and human development needs of Seattle’s low- and moderate-income residents. 2009 Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) and The City proposes to amend the 2009-2012 Consolidated Plan to accept $19.4 million in federal funds for programs that serve homeless and low-income individuals and families in Seattle. In addition, the substantial amendment authorizes the City to use $458,126 for the Neighborhood Stabilization Program – Round 1 (NSP-1) from the State of Washington to help mitigate the effect of home foreclosures.
