NutritionFarm to Table ProjectThe Farm to Table project links senior meal sites and Seattle child care programs to local area farms. The goal of these efforts is to get local, organic produce into some of Seattle’s most under-served communities. See “Fresh Fruits and Vegetables, Farm to Table Partnership” on this Web site for project evaluations, recipes, training materials and other resources. City and community partners include Coalition for Safety and Health in Early Learning, Washington State Department of Agriculture, Seattle Parks and Recreation/Associated Recreation Council, HSD’s Summer Food Service Program, Northwest Agriculture and Business Center, FareStart, Puget Consumer Co-op Natural Markets, King County Housing Authority, Public Health-Seattle and King County, Seattle Tilth, Catholic Community Services, Muckleshoot Indian Tribe and Senior Services of Seattle/King County.
