Farm to Table Project

The Farm to Table project links senior meal sites and Seattle child care programs to local area farms. The goal of these efforts is to get local, organic produce into some of Seattle’s most under-served communities.

See “Fresh Fruits and Vegetables, Farm to Table Partnership” on this Web site for project evaluations, recipes, training materials and other resources.

City and community partners include Washington State Department of Agriculture, Seattle Parks and Recreation/Associated Recreation Council, HSD’s Summer Food Service Program, Northwest Agriculture and Business Center, FareStart, Children's Hospital, King County Housing Authority, Public Health-Seattle and King County, Seattle Tilth, Catholic Community Services, Muckleshoot Indian Tribe and Senior Services of Seattle/King County.
