Utility Discount ProgramThe Utility Discount Program (UDP) helps you get current and stay current on utility payments by offering a discount of about 60% on your Seattle City Light bill and a 50% discount on your Seattle Public Utilities bill. This program is available for residential City Light and Seattle Public Utilities customers only and does not apply to residences used for business purposes. The City also has other utility assistance programs. EligibilityTo be eligible for UDP, you must meet the following:
ApplicationIf you meet the eligibility requirements above, fill out the UDP application in Microsoft Word or UDP application in PDF (if you are having trouble printing this form, please call 206-684-0268 or e-mail udp@seattle.gov to request an application be mailed to you) and mail it along with the Landlord/Tenant form and Employment Security Department Self-Request for Records form to: Utility Discount Program QuestionsPlease refer to our Frequently Asked Questions. Our call-in hours are Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. UDP is located in the Mayor's Office for Senior Citizens, 810 3rd Avenue, Suite 350, Seattle 98104. Our walk-in hours to drop off paperwork are Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Our walk in hours to see a staff person are Monday through Friday from 8 to 10 a.m. and 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. |
