Supporting Affordability and Livability

Provides eligible customers with a discount on their utility bills (60% from Seattle City Light and 50% from Seattle Public Utilities).
The Car Tab Rebate program provides a $20 rebate on car-tab fees to income qualified vehicle owners with a car registered in Seattle.
Congregate meal programs help meet the dietary needs of adults 60 years and older by providing nutritionally-sound meals in a group setting. Nutrition education and social and fitness activities are also provided.
Aging and Disability Services contracts with community-based organizations to provide home-delivered meals (sometimes called “Meals on Wheels”) for older persons who are unable to leave their homes to shop or prepare nutritious meals. Summer meal program provides no-cost breakfasts, lunches, and snacks for kids and teens ages 1-18.
