The Seattle Youth Employment Program (SYEP) is a year-round academic support and work-readiness program for youth, ages 14-21.

HomeWise: Weatherization Services

Seattle homeowners and rental property owners can get free weatherization services if they meet income qualifications. (Qualification is by tenant income.) Low-interest home improvement loans may also be available to homeowners for further needed repairs.

Low-income residents in the greater Seattle area can now more easily learn about and apply for multiple city, local and state-sponsored programs that support people in need through Washington Connection.

Teen Link

Teen Link is a confidential, anonymous, and non-judgemental help line answered by teens from 6-10 pm 365 days a year. Teen volunteers are trained to listen to a caller's concerns and talk to them about whatever is on their mind.

Foreclosure Prevention

Seattle Foreclosure Prevention Program can help homeowners avoid default and work out repayment plans in order to stay in their homes, or gain enough time to sell their homes on their own terms.

Utility Assistance Program

If you are having trouble paying your bill, help is available. City Light's discounted rates for seniors, disabled and low-income customers can cut electric bills in half. Emergency low-income assistance and Project SHARE can help pay bills during family or other emergencies. Weatherization grants can give you a warmer home that uses less energy.
