HomeWiseThe Home Repair Loan provides low-interest (3%) loans to repair owner-occupied, single family homes with low to moderate income households. These loans are funded by a variety of local and federal programs which prioritize health and safety repairs. Homeowners are given as much flexibility as possible, but work items which threaten the health of the occupants or the integrity of the structure must be corrected before other work is started. HomeWise staff will assist you in understanding these priorities and making your project work for you.

Eligible Home Repairs & Improvements Include:

  • Accessibility needs and modifications
  • Additions, if warranted by HUD Housing Quality Standards
  • Appliances, if existing ones are nonfunctional, inefficient, or in very poor condition. No washers or dryers.
  • Bathroom Repair
