On April 13, 2009 over 500 volunteers participated in the first ever survey of unsheltered homeless people living in Seattle.  With their help, 297 individuals who indicated that they were staying outside for the night were surveyed. 

We learned a lot from planning and implementing the assessment and have gathered a lot of data.  We hope to use what we learned from this assessment in our continuous fight to end homelessness.
