More volunteers and donors are always welcome! Lend a hand and help create a wonderful park. Workparties Volunteer with us! Workparties meet the second and third Saturday of the month, April - June and August - October. Drop in anytime from 10:00 - 1:00. More info about our workparties. Outreach Help us publicize Hitt’s Hill happenings and workparties. Distribute fliers, recruit volunteers, expand our contact list—whatever you’re willing and able to do! To volunteer for these important tasks, please contact our outreach coordinator. |

Fundraising Write grants, prepare budgets, and solicit donations from local businesses and community members. Creative ideas are needed! To volunteer for fundraising activites, please contact our grants coordinator. Planning The Friends of Hitt’s Hill Steering Committee sets priorities and plans activities. Committee members devote many hours to the park. Typically, new members join the Steering Committee in January and commit to at least a year of involvement. If you’re interested in taking on a greater role in the development of the park, whether as a Steering Committee member or perhaps in some other leadership capacity, please contact our chairperson. |
