meeting to order at 7:30 PM, in Bldg. 30 Magnuson Park.

A motion to approve the minutes of the March General meeting
was made my Nancy Bittner, seconded by A. Forrey The minutes were approved
unanimously.

Oates made a motion to accept the Treasures report, seconded by V.
Thompson. All approved.
Presentations:
Newsletter
Gail Chiarello gave
an update on the advertising the HHCC newsletter, “Hawthorne Hills Holler”.
The list of possible businesses was divided
amount the trustees to approach for advertising. The ad deadline is June 25th. And
earlier is better. A rate sheet was
available and trustee will make contacts. Member may place an ad in the
“Unclassified” section free of charge.
A motion was made
to send the newsletter to all full residents this year and evaluate response in
the Spring – by D. Neville, seconded by V. Thompson. It was approved
unanimously. It would be approximately 2800 newsletters.
The HHCC is
looking for Web Master to help create a HHCC homepage on the Seattle Community
Network.
Friend of Magnuson Park (FOMP)
Vance Thompson
passed out a report on the Sports Meadow and the pole height variance.
Bicontainment Lab
Margaret Thouless gave an update on the
Regional Containment Laboratory (RBL).
There will be a meeting at he University of Washington on June 7, 2005. The report will be avowable on the web: http//dept.Washington.edu/rbl3
North
Precinct
George Holzapfel updates the
trustees. The approved budget has 25 new
police officers. Vehicle theft is up;
the jurisdiction will go to the Seattle Municipal Court effective July 1, 2005.
Park
Development Authority
Dorothy Neville was appointed to the
PDA. The Ronald McDonald House and
mixed/low income housing are on the property.
The meeting was adjourned at 9:00 PM.
The next quarterly trustees meeting will
held Wednesday, September 14, 2005 at 7:30 PM in building #30, Magnuson Park.
All meetings are open to the public.
