Monthly Crime Report - October
No reported residential burglaries for the months of September and October.
Monthly Crime Report - August
August 3, 6500 blk 47th Ave NE, before 11:00PM
Suspect(s) entered the resident's unlocked garage and stole 2 bikes, the resident was home at the time but did not see or hear anything.
August 21, 6000 blk 39th NE
The resident was gone all day, when she returned she saw that her front door was standing open and her house was rummaged, she was not sure what was stolen, entry was made through a open back window.
August 22, 5500 blk 43rd NE
The resident was gone overnight, when he returned in the morning he found the garage door open and a bike stolen, several other items including a cell phone were taken from his car, there was no sign of forced entry to the garage.
August 31, 5100 blk 40th NE
The resident reported that her backpack containing her wallet, checkbook and ID was stolen sometime overnight, she says she sleeps with the door open during the warm weather.

So far this year, 10 burglaries have been reported in our neighborhood (unofficial statistics provided by the Seattle Police Department). In addition to those listed above, the following were reported:

- February 14: 4500 block Stanford Ave NE
- March 3: 6200 block 44th Ave NE
- June 9: 5500 block NE 65th
- July 9: 6000 blk Wellesley Way NE
- July 28: 6000 blk 45th NE
