HALA is working to make Seattle more affordable.
We are having citywide conversations, meeting people where they already meet in their communities and using technology to get input. For an overview of recent accomplishments, ongoing work, and upcoming events, download our two-page dashboard on HALA strategies. Right now, we need your input on citywide draft zoning maps to implement Mandatory Housing Affordability (MHA). Join the conversation on HALA.Consider.it or talk to us in person at events scheduled until June 30.

What's the Dashboard?
The Dashboard is a place to keep you up to date on the progress we are making with each HALA strategy AND where you can weigh in. We have divided the HALA strategies into five categories and then subdivided even more because there are 65 total strategies! We know that's a lot, but affordable housing is pretty complex. We are doing our best to keep this updated but are always eager to hear from you if you see something you know is out of date or if you have questions.
