Neighborhood Fire Stations

At the time of the levy's initiation, all of Seattle's fire stations had been built between 1921 and 1975; many were outfitted for the fire equipment of yesterday and all of them are seismically vulnerable. This is why Seattle voted to invest in improved facilities for the Seattle Fire Department. This investment in our fire system serves our immediate needs and will continue to serve the needs of Seattle residents far into the future.
