Highland Park - Station 11

About the Station

Station 11 houses one engine company (E11) and a reserve ladder unit. Built with Forward Thrust funding in the early 1970s, Station 11 remains in fair condition.

About the Project

As a seismic and safety upgrade station, Station 11 requires additional seismic bracing to meet current codes. The other improvements include a modest remodel to provide capacity for apparatus bay support functions, including decontamination, crew preparation, and vehicle maintenance areas. In addition, the station office and lobby will be remodeled for greater operational efficiency and security.

The station will continue to house one engine company and a reserve ladder unit.

Emergency services are expected to remain on site while the station is being upgraded.
