Levy Oversight Committee Makeup

Determined by Fire Levy legislation, the composition of the committee currently includes:

  • A Seattle resident with financial expertise selected by the Seattle City Council
    (Albert Shen)

  • Two representatives from the Seattle City Council selected by the Council (Councilmember Bruce Harrell and Councilmember Nick Licata)

  • Two City employees selected by the Mayor
    (Beth Goldberg, Director, City Budget Office, and TBD)

  • A Seattle fire fighter selected by fire fighters
    (Chris Gilbert, Seattle Fire Fighters Union, Local 27).
