Fire sprinklers are mandatory in most new public and multi-residential buildings and are becoming more popular in single family homes. Home fire sprinklers save lives, reduce property loss and can even cut insurance costs.
Home fire sprinklers dramatically reduce the risk of home fire deaths, as
well as decrease fire losses by two-thirds (2/3) over those homes without
sprinklers. There have been no fire deaths in sprinklered homes, while
thousands die each year in unsprinklered home fires. Most fires in
sprinklered homes are contained by the operations of just one sprinkler and
the water volume is significantly less than a fire department response;
just 10-25 gallons per minute versus 250 gallons per minute from a fire
hose. |

Recent technology makes fire sprinklers more affordable and easier to install than ever before. They blend into the interior decor and usually operate off the domestic water supply of the home. For more information on home fire sprinklers see: |
