Purchase the 2006 Seattle Fire Code

The 2006 Seattle Fire Code is now available for purchase at the Seattle Fire Department Fire Prevention Division and at the Department of Planning and Development's (DPD) Public Resource Center.  The cost of the 2006 Seattle Fire Code is $73.00.

The 2003 Seattle Fire Code is a custom code in loose-leaf format published by the International Code Council for the City of Seattle. Text that was added by the City of Seattle to the 2003 International Fire Code is shown underlined. Text that is deleted from the 2003 International Code by the City of Seattle is shown with strike-through marking.

The 2003 Seattle Fire Code, with updates, is available for purchase online from the www.iccsafe.org.  It is also available for purchase weekdays over the counter from the Seattle Fire Department Fire Prevention Division, 220 Third Avenue South, Floor 2, from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM. Payment can be accepted by check or cash only. Checks should be made payable to "City of Seattle".

Copies of the Seattle Fire Code, with updates, may also be purchased from the Public Resource Center (PRC) at the Department of Planning and Development . The PRC
is located on the 20th floor of the Seattle Municipal (Key) Tower, 700 Fifth Avenue, and is open from 8:00-5:00 Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday and from 10:00-5:00 on Tuesday. You may also order code copies by calling 206-684-8467 and paying by credit card.
