Bereavement Uniform Program

The Bereavement Dress Uniform Program offers families of firefighters the opportunity to honor their loved one by burial in a Class A Dress Uniform at no cost to the family.  The program is open to all families of active, retired, paid and volunteer firefighters.

This program is a collaborative effort between the Fire Service and Lighthouse Uniform Company.  Fire Service personnel are asked to donate dress uniforms that no longer fit or are no longer used.

Lighthouse Uniform Company cleans, refurbishes and reconfigures the uniforms to the appropriate rank and then makes them available to any family requesting one for burial purposes.  The only cost is for shipping which is billed to the affiliated department.

To learn more, or to donate or receive a uniform, call the Lighthouse Uniform Company at 1-800-426-5225 or visit the Lighthouse Fire Department Class A Bereavement Uniform Program website.
