Optional Study Workshops for 2011 Firefighter Written Exam

Optional exam workshops are being offered to all candidates to assist in preparing for the Written Examination. These workshops are meant to be tutoring sessions and will include the opportunity to go through materials that will be similar in format to those materials that will be used for the written examination. Each session covers the same material and will include general study tips, a review of the various sections of the written examination and an opportunity to take a mock exam. There is no charge for these workshops.

These sessions will be offered at the dates and times indicated below, and will last approximately 2-1/2 hours.  Please note that each session will be on a space available, first-come first-serve basis. Study sessions will be offered throughout November, December, January and February (the schedule below will be updated periodically).  It is recommended that candidates attend a study session as soon as possible in order to maximize preparation time before the written exam.  (Please call (206) 615-0581 if you have questions regarding the workshops – before calling with questions, be certain you have carefully read the information provided here.)

Candidates who are unable to attend a written exam workshop may wish to review a sample of the workshop material provided.

Candidates should check this Web page for any changes before each session.  Pre-registration is not required.  Each Study Workshop is available on a first-come, first-serve basis.
