Firefighter exam applications will be accepted until October 1, 2013, at 4:00 P.M.  The written Exam is scheduled for October 26 or 27, 2013.  Applicants will be advised of the time and place of their written exam.

Testing currently includes a Written Exam and two Oral Board Exams.  There are no recommended study books.  Instead, candidates are encouraged to attend a free Written Exam Workshop.  Candidates who rank in the top 25% of the test scores will be processed through Pre-Employment Screening which includes a background investigation, employment interviews, physical ability exam, psychological and medical exams.
