SEATTLE FILM OFFICE VIDEO REEL CALL FOR ENTRIES

Overview

The Seattle Film Office is seeking 30 or 60 second clips from local filmmakers' work that was primarily filmed in Seattle. We are looking to highlight a variety of film projects to promote Seattle filmmakers, Seattle film locations and the overall spirit of the Seattle film community. Our office will use this reel in marketing materials, online and for looped display at public events. We cannot guarantee all submissions will be used.


Clip and Submission Requirements

  • Submit 30 or 60 second clips from Seattle area filmmakers and/or films shot primarily in Seattle
  • A subtitle with the title and production company of the film must appear for the duration of the spot
  • Submissions must be delivered, mailed or emailed to the Seattle Office of Film + Music in Quicktime format on a CD-R
  • Final selections will be used by the Seattle Film Office online, in marketing materials and for display in looped display during Film Office events

Guidelines

The Seattle Film Office assumes no responsibility for lost, incomplete, misdirected, illegible or undelivered submissions.

Only submissions which are the original work of the participant are eligible, and the participant must have exclusive rights to all intellectual property associated with the submission as well as the consent of each natural person that is recognizable in the submission. By submitting a clip, participants agree to this and to the decisions of the Seattle Film Office, which will be final and binding in all respects. Submission of your clip is not a guarantee that it will be used.

If at any time the Seattle Film Office is unable to operate the video reel as planned (for example, due to financial or administrative difficulties, fraud or technical failure such as a computer virus/bug or other form of unauthorized intervention), the Seattle Film Office reserves the right to suspend, modify or terminate the use of the video reel.
