The music scene is vitally important to the culture and character of our city. We are committed to finding ways to better serve members of our local music industry.

We want to know what is and isn't working for those in Seattle who make music happen. This information will be used to make recommendations to the Mayor and Seattle City Council.

Responses are collected anonymously. To participate we ask only that you 1) live within King County, and 2) have a professional role or interest in music (whether you make music or work in any sort of product or service offering that supports or interacts with music making). We're looking for well-rounded representation from people who have different roles within Seattle/King County music - not only musicians, but also sound engineers, teachers, talent buyers, music retailers, agents, music therapists, nonprofits, DJs, venue owners and staff, instrument makers, promoters, and more. We also want to ensure diverse representation in terms of gender, race/ethnicity, and age.
Our test respondents completed the entire survey in about 20 minutes, depending on time spent on comments. Once you submit the survey, you'll be directed to a different website where you'll have the chance to win a $50 gift certificate to a local music business!

This survey is open through October 31, 2018. Take the survey here.
