Each year the City of Seattle prepares its Comprehensive Annual Financial Report (CAFR) to present its financial position, the results of its operations, the cash flows of its proprietary funds, and changes in plan net assets of its pension and private-purpose trust funds for the previous year. The financial statements and supporting schedules included in the CAFR are prepared in accordance with the generally accepted accounting principles and meet the requirements of the State Auditor and the City Charter.
