HEARING EXAMINER

Sue Tanner

Sue Tanner was appointed as Hearing Examiner in 2003. She came to the Hearing Examiner's Office from her position as Chief Civil Deputy in the Office of the Kitsap County Prosecuting Attorney, where she advised the county commissioners and planning department on land use and other matters, and represented the county in court and before quasi-judicial bodies. Prior to her work in Kitsap County, she was a Senior Civil Deputy in the Office of the Snohomish County Prosecuting Attorney, where her practice focused on land use, constitutional and administrative law and litigation. Ms. Tanner is a graduate of Southern Methodist University School of Law and Whitman College. She is a member of the Washington State Bar Association.
