There are two City of Seattle ballot measures on this year's ballot:
- Proposition 1 - The Neighborhood Parks, Green Spaces, Trails and Zoo Levy
- Proposition 2 - Initiative 53 - The Monorail Initiative
The Ballot Title, City Attorney's Explanation and Complete Text of these propositions, as well as arguments for and against, can be found by clicking on the appropriate option in the left hand menu bar. Both propositions require only a 50% majority for passage, not 60%. These measures will be on the ballot for a vote of all City of Seattle residents only.
There are no City of Seattle offices on the ballot this November.
An Adobe Acrobat version of the Seattle section of the Voters' Guide can be downloaded here.
Campaign finance information for committees contesting the two ballot issues is available from the links in our top menu bar.
