As of 5/16/01 the City had received registration statements (C1's) from the following Candidates and Committees for this Seattle election. Please note that council candidates are not required to designate the specific position they are running for until declaring candidacy at King County Records & Elections the last week of July. Some candidates have designated a position voluntarily, but they can change this at any time prior to declaring candidacy this week. Also, candidates who declare candidacy at King County the last week may have up to two weeks before they are required to register a political committee. Thus, you may not find all declared candidates on this page.
