Toxics

Everyone has a role to play in reducing toxics in the environment. At the municipal level, the City has instituted a Green Purchasing Program which upholds our commitment to environmental stewardship when buying goods and materials.

At the individual level, being an educated consumer is the first step towards reducing the amount of chemicals in your home and environment. While your individual choices impact you and your family foremost, the choices you make regarding chemical use also affect the overall environment.

Find more information below on some the choices we make at home and how they affect the environment.
