Retail Partners

Fresh Bucks Retail Partners

Fresh Bucks are currently accepted at more than 30 participating retailers in Seattle, including farmers markets, farm stands, independent grocers, and all Seattle Safeway stores.

Expanding Retail Partnerships

Fresh Bucks partners with Seattle food retailers to help our neighbors afford fruits and vegetables. Retail partners are located across the city and offer our 12,000+ Fresh Bucks participants a variety of healthy, culturally relevant produce options to purchase with their benefits. Together, we aim to build an equitable local food system where everyone can access and afford healthy food. Our network of retailers includes farmers markets, farm stands, independent grocers, supermarkets, and online retailers.

In 2021, Fresh Bucks launched an application and community review process to select new retail partners. Our goals are to increase options for where our participants can shop with Fresh Bucks and to expand access to healthy, culturally relevant produce in priority neighborhoods. Selected retailers will be onboarded throughout 2022 and 2023.

Prospective Retail Partners

Fresh Bucks partnership offers retailers the opportunity to add a potential revenue stream, connect to new customers, and engage more deeply with current customers who are already enrolled in Fresh Bucks. As part of our retail network, partners may also learn about grant opportunities or other resources that become available through City programs.
