Collaborate

The food system is complex, far-ranging and diverse. Seattle is fortunate to have an equally diverse number of knowledgeable people, organizations, governments and regional agencies who are partnering to ensure food issues are at the forefront. The City’s interdepartmental team (IDT) meets monthly to coordinate policies, programs and activities for City and regional efforts.

While local and individual actions are critical, participating in regional and national movements is also key. When it comes to food, we need to be working both ends.
