Growing food is a great way to get healthy, save money, lower your environmental impact and connect with others. Urban agriculture involves growing food and raising small animals like chickens, goats, and bees in the city. It’s becoming more popular and we’re working to update policies and connect you to resources that make it easier to grow food. At the same time, there are programs through community centers and organizations in Seattle to help residents learn to cook and eat more healthily.
