Community Climate Projects

The Office of Sustainability & Environment wants to support grassroots organizations that engage the community in climate action.

Going green is not just something Seattleites talk about - it is a core value that guides our choices every day. While we make many of these choices as individuals, Seattle's many community organizations are important catalysts for action in helping residents and businesses do their part to address climate change.

Do you have an idea to help get more folks engaged in taking action for the climate? Then we want to hear from you!

OSE will provide up to $500 to support projects that help foster climate action in your community. Projects can be special events, education activities, or community outreach efforts related to climate change. Applications are accepted year-round and must be received by OSE at least six weeks prior to the start of the project. Applicants are notified of award decision within two weeks of application submission.
